Somewhere – Sofia Coppola
I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS MOVIE
I am a huge, gigantic Sofia Coppola fan – she has a way of capturing moods, atmosphere, and emotions in a way that really connects with me. The Virgin Suicides was one of those films that ‘changed my life’ when I saw it. And by that, I mean it really affected how I watched/dissected/appreciated movies (and what I watched) from that point forward. It was beautiful, ethereal, and heart breaking.
Her next movie, Somewhere has Stephen Dorff (OMFG, I HOPE ITS A COMEBACK) and Elle Fanning and it looks (from the trailer) so sweet (literally) – I hear it’s loosely based on her relationship with her father (some dude named Francis) *cue the tears*
